monks. Recipe from the Abbey of Grimbergen just north of Brussels. This is
a dark burgundy, brown ale with a white head. It has undergone two
fermentations, which give this ale a chocolaty, toffee taste and its
Double name. Very good taste. |

pale ale with an assertive hops finish. The flavor seems to vary. This one
was quite bitter. I have had Bass on tap and found it to be balanced. |
